Luky, in conversation with Fabio Besti, Interdisciplinary Designer and Design Professor, will discuss her journey from the beginning to her latest achievements.
Luky Primadani is an Indonesian designer. She is Senior Strategic Designer at BCG Platinion with a strong focus on advocating for Design Thinking practices in various types of organizations, ranging from academic institutions, non-profits, start-ups, and management consulting.
Her design approach is focused on solving complex problems by using a human-centric design attitude to help organizations gain their competitive advantage.

Disrupting Pattern Talk: Emanuele Coccia September 21st

Emanuele Coccia is a Philosopher and Professor at the École des hautes études en sciences sociales in Paris. His research focuses on Nature, Art and Fashion. His recents publications include: Filosofia della Casa, Metamorphoses, La vita delle Piante, published in 2018 and translated in 10 languages.

In 2019 he curated the exhibition Nous les Arbres at Fondation Cartier in Paris. He has extensive experience as lecturer for some of the most important cultural institutions internationally.

He is currently working on an essay in collaboration with Alessandro Michele, Creative Director of Gucci, about philosophy of Fashion due to be published in 2023 by HarperCollins.

Interviewed by Caterina Lunghi, journalist and teacher, and by a selected group of students, Emanuele Coccia will unfold his latest research topics.

In order to promote excellence in academic disciplines, NABA wants to support highly motivated and talented International students. The competition provides Scholarships partially covering the tuition fees for the Masters of Arts and Academic Masters starting in October 2022 in Milan and Rome campus.

Competition is open to students with a University Degree Certificate or a First-Level Academic Diploma or equivalent title, earning that qualification within the last term of Academic Year 2021/22; applicants with a proven professional experience in relevant fields for the chosen educational path.

The application deadline is May 12, 2022.

CONNECTING THE DOTS

For over two decades, Jozeph Forakis has created some of the world’s most iconic product designs. The Havana lamp for Foscarini, the award-winning Logitech cordless mouseman pro as well as Swatch irony scuba 200. His work was presented in a solo exhibition by the Italian Design Association, and featured in museums and galleries around the world, including the MoMa exhibitions “mutant materials in contemporary design” and “workspheres”.
